He comes from the military as a combat medic and decided to work to rebuild his purpose by helping veterans out with PTSD using recreational therapy. Outdoor adventures have been showing more promise with PTSD treatment and is getting traction from the medical experts. What better place to exercise those outdoor adventures other than Alaska. Joined by other veterans, Doc has built Alpine Remedy to help veterans with their search for alleviating the PTSD suffering incurred from long-term non-treatment and partial reprieve of the side effects of war. Bryan and Randy talk about the strategy, equipment used, how we have balanced everything, and lessons learned. If you are thinking about starting your own podcast and wonder what you need, the options are limitless at this point. Randy has a Mac computer and Bryan has a windows computer. Randy has a lapel and desktop microphone he uses along with headphones and Bryan uses a headset with an built-in microphone. We talk about the options we have come up with along with the software we use. Our strategy is evolving as we work through what we want the podcast to look like, but we are getting there.
